Inverter Systems

Energy Efficiency

The inverter (variable speed) compressor reduced power consumption in order to maintain constant room temperature and comfort.

Where a conventional (fixed speed compressor is either running at full (100%) capacity or cycles off once inside thermostat temperature is reached. And will cycle on once inside temperature drops to a lower than set comfort temperature.

The Inverter System shall initially cycle up and reach 100% capacity over a 30 second to 1 minute duration.

Upon reaching set desired temperature the inverter compressor shall cycle down to a lower capacity in order to maintain constant comfort levels. Despite running this system for a duration of up to 4 to 6 hours the compressor should never need to return to 100% capacity as it maintains the temperature on lower speed (eg. 20 – 35% capacity)

The benefit to consumers is lower running costs, lower energy consumption, improved efficiency and more constant comfort level.
